Hope's Chance Horse Sanctuary

Hope's Chance Horse Sanctuary is a non-profit that cares for horses, many of whom arrive with health problems or behavior issues. Each new horse goes through a 30-day quarantine and a full health evaluation, followed by a care plan. Professional trainers and volunteers work with the horses on riding and training, helping them become suitable for the trail, the jumper ring, or basic education. Horses that are suited for riding are matched with adopters after several meetings and a two-week trial period. Horses that cannot be ridden stay at the sanctuary for the rest of their lives, and the facility is open by appointment only.
