Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited
Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited provides educational and therapeutic riding instruction for people with special needs of all ages. Its program uses equine-assisted therapy for children and young adults with conditions such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Riders learn horseback riding with the organization's own herd, which includes Haflinger, Paso Fino, Standardbred, Arabian and Paint horses. Sessions run in spring, summer, fall and winter, with eligibility based on a documented diagnosis and parental consent. The organization is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
